Kids@Medicare was launched in 2009 to assist poor patients’ children. Provided are additional aid such as tuition fees, back to school assistance; new school bags, and rewards for excellent school result. School holiday activities and excursions are included so as not to deprive them of what other normal children have and enjoy. To date, over 240 patients’ children have benefited from this programme.see more
The Patient Welfare Fund (PWF), was set up to provide additional assistance such as medical assistance; FREE pick up services, food and groceries and transport allowance to poor patients. A yearly outing and monthly birthday and festive celebration are part of MAA Medicare’s commitment in making patients feel at home and appreciated.see more
CARE - Launched in 2014 in conjunction with MAA Medicare’s 20th anniversary, the objective of the programme is to make the environment more pleasant, energy efficient and eco-friendly that will increase staff enjoyment at the workplace and lessen its impact on the environment as a whole.
The three environmental aspirations are to “Buy Green,” “Be Green” and “Go Green.”see more
Training - The training program enables the team at Medicare to excel in 2 key areas.
That all staff are adequately trained to excel in key areas of their responsibility, enabling them to carry out their tasks, confidently using their sharpened skills.
They as trainers - gives the senior team exposure and opportunity to train and share knowledge and vital information to patients and junior staff on all aspects of medical, administrative, IT and operational functions.
